I, Layla am going to show you how to make a simple felt stocking as it is nearing the christmas season.
Here are the ridiculously simple directions:
1. Get everything out:
2. Draw the outline on felt & cut it out :
3. Place the cut out stocking on another sheet of felt and draw around that:
4. You will then have 1 cut out stocking piece & 1 to be cut out:

Cut the second one out: ...
6. Then place them together & start blanket stitching Them together, leaving the top open:
7. Keep doing it: ...
8. Round the bend & making progress:
9. Till the top, then tie it off:

For the design I am going to make a snow man though you can do anything to design it. Here's how I did my design:
1. Cut out 2 circles of white felt:
2. Using a hot glue gun put glue on the stocking: ...
3. Then place 1 circle on the glue:
4. and glue on the next: ...
5. then cut out a brim for his hat out of black felt & glue it in place:
6. and the top of the hat: ...
7. then add his eyes, nose & mouth : ...
8. glue on his buttons which are made of felt: ...
9. cut out his arms & glue them on : ...
10. then using a glue stick put glue everywhere but on the snow man:
11. and sprinkle silver glitter on : ...
12. and so it will hang: ...
